Mauro Roversi

Mauro Roversi has been with SG Capital Europe Advisors (SGCEA) for over seven years, since 2004 as a partner. SGCEA is a dedicated company advising a number of private equity closed-end funds denominated SG Capital Europe Fund I, II and III, with over €500 mln of committed capital provided by primary investors including Goldman Sachs, Société Générale and other large private equity investors from the US and Europe.

He managed the acquisition of majority stakes in leading European businesses having been involved in a number of MBO and MBI transactions including Lince (business information), AEB (food ingredients), Co. Import (retail) and Moleskine (branded notepads) in Italy. Abroad, in his capacity of member of the investment committee, he played a leading role in the analysis and execution of approximately 10 other deals covering an array of industrial and service sectors. His professional experience includes the management of two special situations and three successful exits.

He began his career in 1995 with the Zodiac Group in Paris in the business development team and soon became responsible for the Eastern European markets. Then, he joined the Group operations in the US to participate in the reorganization of the professional division of the group and moved back to Italy in 1999.
Mauro holds an MBA from the SDA Bocconi University (December 2000).
