Management Team

Francesco Lodrini joined Ambienta in March 2011.  From 2008 until joining Ambienta he worked in the Milan office of Barclays Private Equity, a €2.4bn European fund focused on mid-market. In BPE he screened opportunities across different industries, performing business and financial analysis, he managed three portfolio companies also serving as a board member, and worked on financial and industrial restructuring initiatives.

Before joining BPE, Francesco was part of the M&A team of Goldman Sachs in London, where he worked on several transactions in the financial institutions’ industry in Europe and emerging markets including mergers, asset disposals, acquisitions, rights issues, performing in-depth financial analysis and valuation first as an analyst and then as an associate.

Francesco started his career with an internship in Poli & Associati in Milan and then worked as a junior consultant for Monitor Group in London. 

Francesco holds a master degree at Bocconi University of Milan with a major in finance.
