Dario Duse

Dario Duse joined Ambienta in July 2011 as Operating Partner. Since March 2011, he has been supporting Italiana Pellets SpA, one of the portfolio companies of Ambienta SGR, where he is now Chairman and CEO.

He is an experienced turnaround and strategic executive with more than 16 years of business experience both as a turnaround and performance improvement manager and as a strategic consultant.

Prior to joining Ambienta, Dario was for three years Chief Operating Officer in Riri SA, a global leader in luxury fasteners and accessories were he turned around business and optimized manufacturing footprint integrating three former leading companies in each specific market niche. From 2003 to 2008 he was Director with AlixPartners LLC, a global leader in turnaround and performance improvement advisory, where he contributed to the start-up of the Italian office and executed several consulting and interim management assignments mainly in automotive and aerospace industry, ranging from large scale performance improvement plans in multi-billion companies to SME development programs.

From 2000 to 2003 he was a senior associate with A.T.Kearney where he was member of automotive core team and strategy and operations practice. Dario started his career as a project manager in Program E&C, an Engineering Procurement and Construction firm in the beverage industry.

Dario holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an MBA from SDA Bocconi University.
