Management Team

Nino Tronchetti Provera founded Cam Tecnologie in 1997 to develop clean technologies and products.
The most important product developed was a low environmental impact fuel branded Gecam, a diesel-in-water emulsion alternative to traditional diesel fuel for transportation, that reached 20% market share in the Italian Public Transportation market with a turnover of > €50m and operations in France, Czech Republic and China. Cam Tecnologie (today Pirelli Eco Technology) also developed some of the largest Italian wind power plant.
From 2002 to 2007 he worked within the Telecom Italia group , first as CEO of Finsiel, the €1.2bn IT systems integrator and subsequently as General manager of Olivetti, the IT hardware and systems producer.

Prior to 1997 he worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Co and started up the environmental business within the practice.

Founder and vice-chairman of the Italian Kyoto club from 1999 to 2004, Nino graduated from Luiss University in Business Administration. Published thesis on the prospective of the environmental business (1992). MBA degree from Insead Business School, Fontainebleau (1994-95).
