Ambienta SGR, authorized by the Bank of Italy on November 5th, 2007, is an Italian SGR (asset management firm) devoted exclusively to environment-related assets.

Bank of Italy ensures monetary and financial stability, indispensable conditions for lasting growth of the economy, acting on the basis of powers and responsibilities assigned by Italian law, with regard to the control of individual intermediaries and the financial system as a whole.

According to the Community Law, the Bank exercises its supervisory role over banks, banking groups and financial intermediaries ensuring the overall stability, efficiency and competitiveness of the financial system and the compliance with banking and financial rules and regulations.

The powers of control are exercised while respecting the entrepreneurial nature of the persons subject to supervision, who are free to choose their strategies, organizational models and investment policies within a general framework of prudential rules.
