Ambienta’s Mission is to invest in value-added environmental assets, for the benefit of investors, target companies and the environment itself.
The definition of environmental sector for Ambienta is not only renewable but also energy efficiency and pollution control.
Renewables do represent the future. However to cope with increasing demand, the fossil sources will remain dominant, making energy efficiency and pollution control a key environmental need.
Global warming and over-exploitation of hydrocarbon energy sources are the greatest challenges to face in the incoming decades. Reducing pollution issued by industrial activities, transportation and heating is fundamental to improve the quality of our lives.
At local level, we are facing other issues that jeopardize our life, thus damaging human health, such as air pollution caused by transportation and industrial emissions, waste management and water shortage.
Our vision overcomes the simple declarations, involving any business opportunity significantly characterized by technologies, products and services capable to:
- reduce the production of greenhouse gases
- improve energy efficiency
- limit emissions that are deemed harmful to the environment and/or people
- improve the use of water resources
- reduce the production or improve the management of waste
More specifically we focus on:
- renewable energy production and equipment: wind, solar, hydro, biomass and biogas
- systems to increase energy efficiency in industry and in buildings
- systems to reduce pollution in industry and in buildings
- improved energy distribution (smart grid)
- biofuels / biomass: feedstock, technology and production
- automotive: emission control systems, hybrid drivelines and batteries
- water treatment and management
- clean power stations: emissions abatement and cooling systems
- improvements in waste management and material recycling
- waste to energy systems
- services: emissions control, carbon credits
