Richard Robb is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Henry Crown and Company, a family-owned and operated investment company whose holdings include diversified manufacturing operations, banking, oil and gas and real estate companies. Mr. Robb is responsible for the company’s financial and banking relationships. He also serves as Manager of Crown Venture Funds I and II, supervising the family’s investment in a variety of venture capital and private equity funds and direct investments. He represents LP interests as an Advisory Board Member for Lux Capital, Excel Capital, DBL Bay Area Equity Fund, Frontenac and LEERINK Revelation Partners. In addition, Mr. Robb is the Treasurer of Ojai Valley Inn and Spa and serves as a director for Farmers Investment Company, Sonoma Orthopedic Products, Little Lady Foods Inc.and WellRight LLC. He is the current chair of the Environment Committee of the Arie and Ida Crown Memorial, the family’s private charitable foundation.

Prior to joining Henry Crown and Company in 2000, Mr. Robb held senior commercial lending positions at National Bank of Detroit, Detroit, Michigan and Harris Trust and Savings Bank, Chicago, Illinois.   His career included providing corporate and investment banking products and services to a wide variety of public and private companies, with particular emphasis in the Midwest.

Mr. Robb received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brown University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
