Stefano Proverbio

Stefano Proverbio is Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Co. Italian office, Board Member of Borusan and SAES Group and is advisor to the Top Management of Italian and international companies.

Stefano joined McKinsey in 1987 and retired in 2013.

He has focused his efforts in the industrial sector particularly in the telecommunications, high-tech, electronics, energy, engineering and steel sectors. In these industries he has worked for Italian and foreign clients, both on operational and strategic issues.

Prior to McKinsey, Stefano worked for Accenture, a major information technology firm, where he dealt with distribution and logistics.

Further back, he spent two years as a Researcher at Politecnico di Milano, leading engineering school in Italy; he worked for The European Atomic Energy Community.
