Karthik Achar Karthik Achar

Karthik is a Partner in Ambienta's Private Equity team and is based in London. He joined the firm in 2026.

Prior to joining Ambienta, he spent twelve years at Stellex Capital Management. During his tenure, he led a number of investments, including Officine Maccaferri, Mecaer Aviation Group, David Brown Santasalo, MSS International Group and Dürr Clean Technology Systems.

Before joining Stellex, Karthik founded and led the London office of Wayzata Investment Partners, a mid-market private equity firm focued on value-oriented investments. Earlier in his career, he headed a team at Morgan Stanley focused on hybrid capital investments.

Karthik holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Middlebury College.

He is a native English speaker and is fluent in French.
