Cap Vert
Overview
Founded in 1984 and headquartered near Paris, Cap Vert is a leading French platform for green space management services. The Group operates across four complementary divisions: urban pruning, creation and maintenance of green urban areas, watering and fountain works, and infrastructure pruning, all supported by expertise in ecological engineering. Serving mainly B2B clients and public authorities under multi-year contracts, Cap Vert is recognised as a benchmark player in its sector.
Ambienta acquired Cap Vert, attracted by its strong position in the French market and its potential to serve as a platform for building a leading player in critical green space services. The business operates in a resilient market underpinned by long-term structural and environmental trends.
With the support of Ambienta, the company pursues a targeted geographical expansion through a series of strategic add‑ons. As at the end of 2025 the company has completed sixteen acquisitions that have strengthened its position in existing markets and new territories, with further M&A opportunities under review to drive growth and consolidate leadership.

Environmental Thesis
Urban green space management is key to sustainability, supporting carbon capture and biodiversity. With ~70% of CO₂ emissions generated in cities and 75% of Europeans living in urban areas (85% by 2050), its role is increasingly critical.
Enhancing urban green areas is central to achieving the EU Green Deal’s 2050 climate neutrality targets.
Cap Vert improves tree health and growth, increasing carbon capture by up to 70% vs. standard mature trees.
